Many loving cat parents have declawed cats in the past without realizing that this practice is actually harmful and can cause longterm health complications, behavioral issues, and unneccessary pain for their beloved companion. The practice of declawing is already illegal in many other countries, and in five states within the U.S. It’s time for the rest of the nation to jump on board and ensure cats are free to live their lives without the unneccassary pain and suffering caused by the practice of declawing.
