Ocean Conservancy works globally to advance climate solutions and protect biodiversity, while fighting to reduce plastic in the ocean. This organization is incredible, and the work that they do is crucial. This is the world’s leading organization in ocean conservation. They work to find lasting solutions through advocacy, encouraging policymakers to support change at state, national, and global levels. They are hands on! They’ve already cleaned up over 400 million pounds of plastic and trash on beaches and within the ocean, and work with over 19 million volunteers worldwide to save the ocean. If you are interested in financially supporting organizations with the ability to impliment lasting change for the betterment of our ocean and our planet, this would be a great one to start with!
